Did you know Airports have fire hydrants, too? These are on the “Airside” of the terminal, so it’s unlikely that you will get a ticket for parking at one. Since they can be tricky to locate among all the surrounding equipment, they have to be identified with overhead signs. When LaGuardia built a new concourse, they asked me to install these signs to mark the hydrants. It was the kind of state-sponsored essential work that kept us open during Covid.
